Launching a leading brand with new store power

Challenge
Sauvage is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of both womens & mens designer swimwear. They had almost no online position in their marketplace and also felt their website design was a poor representation of the company brand. The task? Come up with the full brand overhaul and maximize online retail sales.
Ideas
After the initial creative consultation it became unanimous that the main focus is the product and it needed to jump off the page. We also wanted to take a chance with color schemes by removing them and found black to be the best solution. Having to find a strong shopping cart platform and security features, we had no doubt Miva was our choice.
Results
After designing the new Sauvage logo, we moved on to a virtually all black and minimal design for the site. The development included a Flash front-end gallery for their wholesale customers and seamlessly integrated it with the shopping cart for the end user. The new site design alone increased sale conversions. Since the launch we have moved on to an annual SEO campaign.
